Keratin, nanoplastia or bond repair? A plain-English guide
Frizz, breakage and dullness have different causes, and different fixes. What each smoothing and repair treatment actually does for your hair.

Smoothing treatments are some of the most requested services on our menu, and some of the most misunderstood. Before choosing one, it helps to know what is actually wrong with your hair.
If your problem is frizz: keratin or botox
These treatments coat and smooth the hair's outer layer, cutting frizz and adding shine while keeping natural movement. Results typically last three to five months, depending on how often you wash.
If you want it straighter: nanoplastia or permanent straightening
Nanoplastia smooths and straightens with a more natural fall than classic rebonding. Permanent straightening gives the flattest, sleekest result but is a bigger commitment, since the treated hair stays straight until it grows out.
If your hair snaps: bond repair first
When hair breaks, feels gummy when wet or has been through a lot of colour and heat, smoothing it is not the answer. Bond-repair treatments work inside the hair to rebuild strength. We often recommend a repair course before any chemical smoothing.
Tell us honestly about your last colour, henna or straightening. Some combinations need a gap of several weeks, and it changes which treatment is safe for you.
Aftercare that makes it last
- Follow the no-wash window your stylist gives you, usually 48 to 72 hours.
- Switch to a sulphate-free shampoo.
- Keep heat tools at a moderate setting and always use a protectant.
